I would like to say that I had a great experience purchasing my new Sonata at Wilson Hyundai. I had been wanting a new car for a while and after driving a rental on vacation decided that the Sonata was the one for me. When I arrived at Wilson Hyundai, Mike Thomas greeted me and showed me a car that I liked from looking at their web site. Mike ( a very nice guy) went over all the features and also showed me some alternatives. After a test drive, I finally picked the one I originally liked from the web site. Mike was even able to get a better price than what I was expecting to pay. I must say that everyone I dealt with at Wilson Hyundai was very pleasant and helpful. I recommend Wilson Hyundai to anyone that wants a great car and a pleasant buying experience. I fully expect to give my business to Wilson whenever the need arises.
I went to Wilson Hyundai looking for a certain vehicle and left with exactly what I was looking for. Tyler White was very helpful and he let me drive the vehicle home for the day to test it out. He called to check and make sure the vehicle was running smoothly and that I was satisfied. He made sure that I knew all the bells and whistles and answered all of my questions. This service department has given me the absolute worst service experience ever. The service writers are rude and extremely unprofessional- as I walk in all I see are 2 girls on their cell phones laid back in their chairs with serious attitude problems . Took my sonata in for an oil change and to have a problem looked at. They had it for 2 days never did find the problem and never did change my oil. The problem I took my car in for was something that they "fixed" 6 months ago but it is now happening again and yet they couldn't find the problem this time. I would highly recommend not having your car serviced here. Unfortunately they will waste your time. When I asked for a manager to speak with hoping to resolve the issue he was conviently gone for the day and wouldn't be back until Monday
Called about a bad battery today in my 2016 Sonata that I bought a year and few months ago. Got told by Jennifer to bring the car in to verify the warranty on the battery. Bring the car in and got directed to Anitra. They checked my battery and said that they needed to verify the warranty. Took an hour to tell me that the warranty clerk is out on vacation. I insisted that someone in this dealership surely can look it up. Some more time later Anitra came back to tell me that that she found someone to check and it is covered but the battery won’t be provided and replaced until Monday or Tuesday.. but they were sure to be quick to tell me that the battery price would be
$260+ to replace at first before I mentioned it should be under warranty. Whatever the case it doesn’t take more than an hour to tell me that there is nothing you can do and have me waste gas, lose an hour of work, and take up my time to give me a bunch of stories. I bought my car there and they should honor the warranty and replace the battery in a reasonable time. But don’t take forever to tell me you can’t do anything and you don’t have the battery if that car is one of the most popular cars you sell. Hopefully I won’t be stranded leaving work and trying to get to work until they figure out how and when to get my car back in order.
