The staff at Newton's - as well as the owners - are very customer-focused. I first went there, looking for someone to repair an earring for me. I think the total repair cost was less than $40 - but they treated me as though it was a million. They were polite, courteous - just really bent over backward to provide good customer service.
This is now my home jewelry store. a(The second time I walked into the store, I was greeted by name). It's rare that I purchase anything anywhere else. Newton's has very different jewelry -not just diamonds (though they have those too!) but unique pieces. And the prices are very nice. I've shopped around and Newton's prices are certainly competitive.

And -- Mr. Newton stands behind everything he sells. I had a ring that lost a diamond some time after I'd purchased it. He replaced it at no cost. And I didn't have to ask about that --- he told the salesperson when she was writing up the ticket that it was no charge.
I remember the owners son treating me very poorly back in the day when he was managing the shop.
This was my first time buying any kind of real jewelry. My boyfriend proposed to me and Lynn helped me pick out the perfect ring. The service was amazing they were so understanding. As I didn't know what I even wanted. But they helped me pick out the perfect ring. We spent almost 2 hours with them just talking and getting to know each other. Wonderful service. Amazing price. Just a great place to go for jewelry all around!
