Have never been to the Lakeland Dr location in Flowood, but have talked to Becky in the pat. She was very pleasant and helpful. I just called to check on a car for tomorrow and don’t know who I was talking with, because I did not understand what she said. I asked for the one day rental price on an intermediate size vehicle and she gave me a price of $61 and some cents. I then asked for the rate on a compact for one day and she told me $61 and some cents. I did tell her I am an AARP member and asked if The prices were the same for the two size cars. At that point she told me the intermediate was $63 + cents. So attempting to use my AARP discount increased the price. Evidently Budget does not understand what “discount” means!!!
I did comment on her seemingly unconcerned attitude and that she did not really care whether I did business with them, but received no response from her. At that point, I just said if they did not want my business, I would find someone else. Won’t try Budget again!
Becky is great. Very, very easy to deal with. Prices are good too.
